• MacBook Pro M5 Pro — 24 GB RAM. Regret the minimal RAM (it was what the store had in stock), but the machine is a beast otherwise.

Editor & Terminal

• Zed — Switched from VS Code and not looking back. It's dramatically faster and feels so much less bloated for agentic coding sessions. Genuinely the best editor I've used.
• Claude Code — My daily driver for anything that needs more than a quick edit.
• iTerm 2 + Starship — Moved on from oh-my-zsh because Starship is noticeably faster.

Work

• Google Workspace — Email and docs for Flowstate.
• Slack — Team comms. Also where some customers have dragged me into their workspaces.
• Notion — Internal docs and knowledge base.
• Linear — Project tracking. Nothing else comes close.
• Flowstate — Tracking cost of engineering efforts and AI spend. Yes, I use my own product.
• Microsoft Teams — Purple SharePoint has invaded my life again through some customers.

Personal

• Microsoft 365 — Personal email and cloud storage.
• Apple Mail, Calendar & Contacts — The native apps just work. Mostly.
• Apple Music — Fine. Could use some bug fixes.
• Reeder — RSS reader. The way the internet was meant to be consumed.
• 1Password — Saved my ass recently. Use a password manager.
• Amphetamine — Stops my Mac from sleeping. Essential.

Hosting & Infrastructure

• bunny.net — CDN and DNS for this site. Love seeing them grow and build a genuinely great product.
